I really hope at some point they will add an option to set a default maintenance level for all new vehicles, before they're purchased. Planes will have the highest emissions and things vary for trains. Older buses, for example, will have higher emissions while newer models will have lower emissions. ![]() ![]() The model of a vehicle will also affect emissions. Even when you replace a vehicle that was set to Very High, the replacement vehicle is automatically set to Normal instead. If the replacement vehicle is first in the list of the available vehicles and you just click the Replace for xxx button, then your vehicles will be replaced. Vehicles like trams, buses and trucks will have the least amount of emissions. Anytime you buy a new vehicle - even if it's a replacement - the maintenance setting is Normal. I'm not sure which one it does but I'm fairly confident it does one of those two things. I think when you add new vehicles to a line it either disables any maintenance level you set for the line or the maintenance level simply does not apply to the new vehicle and you have to specifically change it for any new vehicles added.
